LOA Reality Check #2 - I Think We're Making Too Much Of This

Abraham Hicks has always told us that we make too much out of this.

Deliberate Creators talk about their manifesting tool kits, and all their neat processes they've come across or have created.

Coaches offer to help you develop your tool kit.

When you feel stuck in a rut, a Deliberate Creator's mind very quickly proposes and rejects all the stored processes they have learned, until they land on one that feels good.

That is all good and well, but I still can't help but feel we may be missing the bigger picture here.

Right now in my college life, I'm all about free stuff - especially when it comes to Deliberate Creation resources. I believe in sharing your knowledge freely, but I also believe in those who charge for it. Surely the Multiverse is large enough for both of us to have our cake and eat it, too, right?

Last year, after hearing a story that lit me up like the house from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, I got a very small windfall of money and decided to book a session with Denise Duffield-Thomas. While that was in the opposite direction of free, I have to say that I have found almost every blog post, interview, vlog, or webinar that Denise puts out is gold. She is open, she is real, and she has given away her secrets to manifesting for free.

It seemed that not long after my session with Denise, her coaching took off. While I appreciate her taking time out for a college kid that did not have any real goals except to fully enter adulthood, Denise has graduated to coaching more interesting people, as you can tell from her blog (and soon that will include me!). But she manages to stay real, and that's what makes her stand out.

Denise recently posted this video about manifesting a large sum of money in a little under 2 weeks. As usual, it lit me up and inspired me, but at the same time brought me back to myself. It made me really look at myself and ask myself if I have learned so many processes, that in the end I've just made it hard on myself?

Where is my money? Where is my lover? Where is my house?

When I was manifesting things like crazy, I remember that I had really gotten the sense of entitlement down. I would tell myself that the Universe would make a way for me, simply because I asked for something. I would remind myself that I had the power to create worlds within me. Somehow...somewhere along the way, I lost that. I could speculate why, but I think it's more important for me to reclaim it.

I've gotten to a point in life where the things that previously gave me joy now give me a headache.

That's not my fate.

I am still in control.

I just need to remember that the Universe is telling me, "All you have to do is just ask. I will do anything for you, babe." ;)
